Liverpool Architectural Society

Liverpool has one of the finest and most diverse collections of buildings and spaces in the country. The city that was once the "Port of Empire" has come through a severe post-war decline to emerge re-invigorated in the 21st Century. In part this has been down to significant European investment (and being crowned the European Capital of Culture in 2008) but also down to large private investment (such as the Grosvenor led Liverpool ONE scheme).

The LAS are rightly proud of our city and welcome visitors from across the country, Europe and the rest of the World. We can help groups wanting to pay a visit and we would also suggest contacting our colleagues at the RIBA North West who have developed a series of organised guided walking tours of the city.

We look forward to showing you around one day.
