In partnership with associated practices BCA Landscape and BCA Project Services, the practice provides integrated services of architecture, planning, conservation, interior design, landscape architecture and planning supervision. A wide experience and variety in the size and character of projects has given an increased sensitivity and knowledge to the benefit of all design schemes. We appreciate that the quality of the physical environment can have a significant impact on the effectiveness of a building and take great care to create internal and external environments that are both welcoming and stimulating to all users. This experience is combined with a freshness of approach sustained by energy and enthusiasm, underpinned by firm management and quality control. Recognising that no two projects are alike, our buildings arise from a direct response to the site and the client¹s needs. We start the design process with open ears and open minds and place great emphasis on understanding the client¹s requirements before putting pen to paper. We design with confidence and flair. Proposals are firmly rooted in solid practicality, combining vision and imagination with functionality. We are prepared to take the extra time and make the extra effort, considering a broad range of options, to ensure that the optimum solution is found to match the site brief and budget. Recent awards have included the Roses Design Award 2002 and RTPI Regional Award 2002 for the mixed development at Campbell Square, Duke Street, Liverpool in the Urban Regeneration categories; and the New Homes Marketing Board Sustainable New Homes Award 2004 for new housing at Childwall, Liverpool.
