 THE PRACTICE

‘Our commitment as architects is always to provide the highest quality of service: in the interests of our clients; the end users of the buildings we design and the environment they form a part of.’

Founded in 1986, the practice has grown steadily and now consists of eighteen professional staff with offices in both Manchester & Liverpool (including an associated Building Surveying practice)

The major part of the Practice workload is public/private sector housing.  Urban regeneration; master planning; healthcare; early years projects; public realm schemes and community schemes constitute the remainder of our workload.

We recognise the absolute importance of thorough consultation, systematic analysis and careful research before any design work is undertaken. We also have a long history of working with community; ‘non-professional’ and bespoke clients, in creative partnerships with existing residents, stakeholders and communities. Those skills have become extremely valuable for our increasing involvement in urban renewal and masterplanning projects. We now have a great deal of experience, either as project manager, designer or team member in a wide range of interactive or consultative design procedures to facilitate the sustainable renewal of neighbourhoods and workplaces.

Our approach to all design work is always to try to listen to our clients.  We strive to provide high quality, innovative solutions that meet our clients’ real needs, not out-dated and pre-conceived responses to half - understood problems.
