Exchange Street Station

Location: Tithebarn Street, between Pall Mall and Bixteth Street

Exchange station was redeveloped in the 1970s and only the fine stone faŤade remains of the original station. The faŤade now fronts a large office block. Originally, a steam locomotive was to have been positioned in the atrium of the station, but this fell victim of increasing building costs.
